Questions buyers ask
Why is there no price on this page?
Olive oil is quoted per shipment because freight, the exchange rate and the harvest move the landed cost. Request the price list and it comes back within two business days, held for 30 days.
What is the minimum order for the 3 L tin?
One pallet of 60 cases, which is 240 tins. Mixed pallets with other SKUs are built to the same one-pallet minimum overall. Sample cases ship by courier before a first pallet.
Is each lot tested?
Every lot ships with the mill's certificate of analysis covering free acidity, peroxide value and UV absorbance. An independent laboratory or tasting panel test can be arranged on request at the buyer's cost.
How should the tins be stored and how long do they keep?
Store between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius, away from light and heat. Shelf life is 18 months from the filling date printed on the tin base; the oil is at its best within 12. Once opened, use within two to three months.
Which HS code applies to extra virgin olive oil?
Heading 1509, olive oil and its fractions, with the virgin-oil subheading at six digits. Your customs broker confirms the full eight or ten digit tariff line for Canada or the United States at entry. The import guide covers classification in more detail.
Can this SKU ship to buyers in the United States?
Yes. Pallets go by truck to Seattle and by rail intermodal to Chicago and New York. Your broker files the US entry and FDA prior notice with the product data we supply. Lane detail is on the import to the US page.
